Day 52,   19 miles

Today I hiked with Sweet Virginia.  I call her Sweetiepie or just Sweet.

The first few miles were more of last night.  Snow with no trail.  We used our gps app to find our way, and once in a while spotted Venture’s footsteps in the snow.  We passed beautiful lakes.  Then there was an 8 mile burn where a forest had been planted, trees all in rows, looking to be about 25 years old.

All of us had a tough day.  It felt long.

I didn’t sleep well last night.  I felt damp and cold.  Tonight we are camped at Old Station campground, nice and warm and dry.  Bedtime. Goodnight.
