Downhill into Reds Meadow. Last 7 miles long and hot. So long. So hot. Lay down in the shade to rest. Are we there yet?
Laundry, shower, pct hikers’ tent site, burger and beer. Bought knee high USA flag socks to protect my thrashed calves from the black flies.
I like Reds Meadow. Peaceful.
